Who We Are

A dream 20 years in the making.

This farm is a dream of Karl and Jeanne Strack. Since their marriage in 1975 they've lost many friends and family members — and still talk to them often, believing they're listening. The farm always felt so safe and comfortable that, soon after moving in, the name "Guardian Angel Acres" seemed to fit.

The farm was purchased on July 2, 2005. The Senior Scenter dog house opened on November 7, 2014.

Raina Reigns

Raina and mom Ruthie

Raina is a spunky mini horse born April 12, 2020, missing the last set of bones in her rear hooves, which never developed. She and her mom Ruthie came to Guardian Angel Acres when Raina was only 6 days old. Her hooves turned under and inward, bruising the tops, so the first step was raising her feet off the ground to relieve the pressure.

Raina's first set of boots consisted of hot-pink pool noodles! At only 30 lbs, they were sturdy enough to start. Her reaction was beyond expectations — she didn't miss a beat and literally took off running.
